Corizon is the first software company to develop technology to mashup enterprise-class composite applications. Its software has been proven to provide rapid return on investment in deployments at leading blue-chip organisations.

Corizon technology allows the safe and rapid assembly of enterprise class composite applications by line of business owners without the need for advanced development skills, whilst maintaining the control and security requirements of IT. Corizon achieves this by extending the principles of Service Orientated Architecture (SOA) to the User Interface (UI). Corizon creates and defines ´UI Services´, reusable application UI components that can be compared to ´widgets´. However, UI services provide the level of control required to easily mash-up enterprise applications and complement SOA architectures.

Corizon customers include the leaders in their fields - British Telecom and Homeserve.

History

The Company was founded as Genient Ltd at the beginning of 2000, adopting the name Corizon in November 2003. It is privately held, and backed by blue chip investors including Atlas Venture and LMS Capital.
